The campaign is particularly relevant as recent research shows two thirds of British adults say they have experienced mental ill-health at some point in their lives, according to a survey by the Mental Health Foundation. In an industry which has a workforce of over 800,000 people, that equates to over 500,000 people potentially affected by mental health challenges!
These are worrying statistics which could have a big impact on a sector as significant as the automotive industry. Our figures tell us around 50% of people who contact us are worried about money, which has a knock-on effect on a person’s mental health, as well as social and physical health.
